Kathmandu, Feb 11: Nepali national football team Vice-captain Bikram Lama underwent a successful surgery of his injured left leg at the Grande International Hospital today.
Also captain of the Three Star Football Club, Lama had injured his leg during the final match of the Budha Subba gold cup football tournament in Dharan yesterday.
Lama will be able to get back to play after six to eight months, Dr Chakra Raj Pandey, the medical director of the hospital said. Dr Pandey and his team had performed the successful surgery.
