Narpani car accident update: all dead from same family

Kathmandu November 6. All three killed in the car accident occurred at Narpani of Sandkhikhara, the district headquarters of Arghakhanchi, this morning are confirmed to be from a same family. The deceased have been identified as Durga Devi Khadka, 80, her two sons Bhakta Bahadur, 43, and Til Bahadur, 39. They are from Murgiya of Sainamaina municipality-2 in Rupandehi. The District Police Office, Arghakhanchi’s Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Bista said they all died on the spot. The car (Ba 17 Cha 6917) met with the accident at Narpani along the Gorusinghe-Sandhikharka road section as it was en route to Sandhikharka from Sainamaina. Ganga Bahadur Khadka, 49, who was driving the car and his nephew Binod Khadka, 25, have been injured. They have been sent to Butwal following primary treatment at the Thada Primary Health Center. The car fell some 150 meters down the road in the downhill. The District Traffic Police Office, Arghakhanchi said over-speed could be blamed for the accident.
