Kathmandu, Feb 3 : The Nepali Congress has urged all its elected representatives to be present in their respective polling centres for the election to be held for the post of member of the National Assembly. They have been directed to be present in the polling station area within February 5.
The election to the National Assembly is taking place in all the seven provinces on February 7.
The NC has also requested all the provincial assembly members and local government office-bearers elected on behalf of the party to vote for the official candidates. A press statement issued by the party’s Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel directs all to abide by the party’s whip.
