The UML has accused the government of misusing more than Rs 160 million from the state coffers and creating unnecessary disturbance in the civil and police administrative structure. The UML has called on the government to stop such acts as trying to dismantle the police administration structure by creating posts for four Inspectors General in Nepal Police, which it said contravened with the election code of conduct.

A press release signed by Committee spokesman Bishnu Rimal and issued today states that the committee has urged the Election Commission to reprimand the government to carry out its works remaining within the parametres of an election government and.
Likewise, the committee has demanded that the government to curb the series of violent attacks and bomb explosions taking place throughout the country.
