Kathmandu, January 31: Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Coordinator of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), has declared that unity among communist and leftist forces is the urgent national necessity of the present time. He emphasized that the unification of communist parties is essential to build a new national force, safeguard national sovereignty, and defeat foreign conspiracies and interference.

Addressing a ‘Special Election and Grand Gathering’ organized today in Kathmandu by the Solu–Kathmandu Contact Coordination Committee, Coordinator Dahal stated:

“Different communist parties and socialist components have united with the solemn resolve to build a national force and fulfill the people’s expectations through the upcoming election.”

Describing the forthcoming House of Representatives election (February 5, 2026) as taking place under extraordinary political circumstances, he urged all cadres and supporters to ensure victory for every NCP candidate. He repeatedly framed this unity as the strongest weapon to protect national independence and counter foreign plots and interventions.
