Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who returned from Singapore after a treatment, has been admitted to the Tri-Teaching Hospital this morning for the regular follow up.
Prime Minister Oli reached Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center at Tri-Teaching Hospital in Maharajganj around 9am on Wednesday.
The catheter that was placed in Prime Minister Oli’s heart was removed by senior cardiologist Dr. Arun Symi of Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center. He has already returned Baluwatar. It is said that antibiotics were prescribed for a few days after plasma pheresis. PM Oli underwent plasma pheresis seven times at the National University Hospital in Singapore.
Plasma pheresis is a medical process in which blood components are filtered outside the body. The procedure has been implemented on PM Oli, who had a kidney transplant 12 years ago, to remove antibodies for immune suppression. At that time, a catheter was placed in the heart of the Prime Minister. Now it has been removed.
