Lasha is the capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region. After an eight-hour trip from Lhasa, we can reach a beautiful city, Lulang. The Chinese government has made lots of effort to make Lulang city and nearby village, Tasi Ghan an attractive tourist destination. The concept of Home Stay has been operated all over the village, Tasi Ghan. Lulang has operated many five stars resorts and hotels. Tibet, has a population of just over 3 millions  only, but, the number of tourists reaches 25 million a year. Most of these tourists arrive in Lulang and Tasi Ghan just to relax and to view beautiful scenery of the village.

We can reach Lulang County after 8 hours travel from the capital, Lhasa, of Tibet Autonomous Region. This place is surrounded by beautiful hills and it has now become a main tourist destination. Lulang lies in Linchi of Tibet and it has become a favorite place of 40 million tourists.

Tasi Ghan Village is a village of Lulang County. There are 318 families living in the village of Tasi Gha village. Mr. Chhao is a gentle person of this village. Chhao’s house is the first choice for most tourists visiting Lulang. Chao, who has two daughters and two grandchildren, runs a home stay hotel at his own home.

Tourism is the main occupation of the village, Tasi Ghan. There are 68 homes in this village. All the residents of this village are involved in tourism business like Chao. Locals say that they earn up to 4,000 yu yan a month from the tourism business.

The tourists coming here are mainly the Chinese. Local Party Committees and Lulang County Government have cooperated and worked a lot for the promotion of tourism industry .President Xi Jinping arrived at Chhao’s house. In order to promote tourism various national and international level programs are organized in Lulang. Tourists are also attracted to the place where people of high profile visit.

In Lulang there was only a common river bank and ditch until 6 years ago. However, within 3 years, the appearance of this county has changed completely. To promote tourism, efforts of the Luling County Government, the Party Committee and the public are praiseworthy. There is also a primary level school where children study free of cost.  Moreover, inside the village there is a health post where health checkup is free. The commission of local Chinese Communist Party provides other necessary supports.

Now five star resorts have been built. This is a common village where China has built a hotel resort, seminar hall. They are accommodated for the most distinguished guests around the world. The village has been re settled in the vicinity. The hotel resorts have provided employment opportunities to the villagers.  The villagers entertain foreign visitors and tourists, by presenting cultural events that reflect local folk culture. The tourists are honored with great hospitality. Tibetan government has established Tasi Gha as a famous tourist’s destination.
