Kathmandu, Sept 10 Visiting Chinese Minister for Foreign Affairs Wang Yi paid a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the latter’s office -Shital Niwas- in Kathmandu today. Foreign Minister Wang, who is also the State Councilor, arrived Kathmandu on Sunday evening for the three-day official visit to Nepal at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali. During the meeting, the two discussed the matters relating to the Sino-Nepal ties and matters of mutual interests and benefits. Present in the meeting were Chinese delegates led by Foreign Minister Wang while on Nepal’s side were Nepali ambassador to China Leela Mani Paudyal, Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Shanker Das Bairagi and high-ranking officials of the Office of President. —
